This 4th issue of Lonny was packed with design and product goodness as always, but to be completely honest, when I got to the end this time, I definitely thought there would be more. Despite the slight let-down I felt by this issue, there were still some fabulous spaces. I've chosen a few things for now and a few for later (think take it on tuesday, and possibly an inspiration board!)
I think the was my favorite little space. The warm walls, the worn wood, the inviting chairs in bright white, and the dainty little tea table. Perfection!
there is a simplistic draw to this room. Sometimes I feel like its missing something, and other times I am drawn to the cleanliness of the space and use of different period pieces of furniture. I think its those classic louis chairs with the great striped fabric that pulls the room together!
Last summer in the south of france, I walked into a little shop that had this gorgeous silverware set that were wall stickers. I excitedly bought them dreaming of where I would put them when I got home, and they still remain in their transport canister. This photo reminded me so much of those stickers, and is great inspiration on how to jazz up a little butler pantry or galley kitchen.
I've been in love with this rug since I saw it in Nate Berkus' home for Elle Decor, and subsequently discovering it at Ikea. I love what it adds to the entire overall space, but I'm sure it really jazzes up that entryway!
this bedroom doesn't really suit my personal style (I feel its a bit awkward and lacking some everyday comforts), but there is no denying the sheer beauty of the space, I think what I'm drawn to is that fireplace, it brings an element of warmth unlike anything else to this room... what do you think?
Finally, this little bedside table was so sweet and quirky, and not to mention houses a fabulous collection of books.
What did you think of this issue?
