This week Jonathan Adler debuted his new book, Happy Chic Home.
To me, he is such an exciting designer - and a wonderful reminder of how brilliant design can be.
Something I especially love is his way with white...
[via] oh joy
.. see what I mean!? His textiles, accessories, and decor elements are brimming with gorgeous, deep, and delightful color... but everything else is white. Adler sets the perfect example on how to create a space that feels clean and fresh without it being particularly noticed.
I'm really loving bold patterned rugs lately! And anything by JA of course!
ReplyDeleteyes- i always think of his bright colors anchored in by white. it's a look that i love... and try to replicate. {not too well... hah!}
ReplyDeleteSuch a happy rug! I love it. It's a great space.
ReplyDeleteI love all the colour against the white backdrop!
ReplyDeleteSo clever and fun! xo
So fun and fresh! He seems to always capture the fun personalities of his clients. Can't wait to see the book!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of these photos....Orange!
ReplyDeleteI just stumbled across your blog for the first time and thought I would say hello! I looked through a few of your posts and love your style. I especially love your blog banner, I think it's one of the best I've ever seen. So simple and effective.
I'm a blogger as well, about the world of art, but my history is in interior design and fashion. I love to hear what people are saying! Hope we get to see more of each other in the future.
