This morning I jumped out of bed excitedly and opened my computer in anticipation of High Gloss Magazine's debut - I have to say I wasn't disappointed in the slighted. Rather, I think they really took online pubs to the next level. High Gloss was an absolute page turner, with each page only getting better. From their wonderful features on home and fashion to their entertaining little articles portrait of a tastemaker-loved them! High Gloss is something you don't want to miss out on. Here were a few of my very favorites...
The owner of Furbish Studio, Jamie Meares her blog is a mix of beautiful things, and total hilarity is an absolute master at putting fun and crazy patterns and pieces together - her home was no different!
a classically American hotel highlighted by its classically European features made for some stunning juxtapositions...
If you haven't seen Erin Gates' work before, its always refreshing. This Boston bachelorette pad was the perfect dose of polished and feminine!
This room struck my fancy in the same way my own bedroom does. The mix of crisp white bedding and coziness calls my name!
David Jimenez always hits the mark when it comes to masculine glamour. If High Gloss was in print, this article would have been ruined with drool.
I loved it too- the graphic type and layout helped make all the glamour feel modern and edgy- fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to read through it right now. This has me very excited!
ReplyDeleteohhhh... so pretty! I am loving that pink apartment! so classic.
ReplyDeleteOhhh I can't wait to check it out! I love that gray blanket in the bedroom!
ReplyDeleteEeee! I have that Richard Avedon print framed on my dresser. It is SO inspirational every day when I get dressed. Pure glam.

I am pretty much obsessed! High Gloss exceeded all expectations. Every single page was stunning!
ReplyDeleteAren't we getting spoiled with all this loveliness? Rue is fantastic, and now High Gloss is amazing too. I agree with all your picks - all of the above and then some more. I was also smitten with the zebras galloping across the bar. Lots of fun.
ReplyDeleteGreetings from a fellow interior designer across the waters in Melbourne, Australia. Pop over to my design blog to say hi sometime.
Absolutely adore the Erin Gate's room! Perfect mixture of femininity and polished, just like you said! xo
