When I got engaged, I knew I didn't want to inundate you all with wedding inspiration. However, a few of you have expressed interest- so maybe on the weekends I will share a few of my thoughts and musings as to just how this wedding might turn out...
it seems that with every passing moment, days are turning into weeks - and I have bigger decisions to make everyday. this week I have turned my attention to narrowing down a final color palette...
after seeing a super pale pink dress on one of my bridesmaids, I fell in love.
flowers are a really important part of the wedding to me, and I adore this cake.
the fashioning of the flowers and the colors would perfectly coincide with some other choices I have made...
spending the hours I have losing myself to Style Me Pretty, I've seen many brides choosing to veer from the traditional and going with printed/patterned, mixed and matched dishware, and idea I think I'm keen on. I like the way it brings the table down to earth and doesn't feel too stiff...
When it comes to events and paper - I am Ms. Matchy-Matchy. However, I have yet to be inspired by a great idea for seating cards. Have any of you seen a great idea? Or, did you have something at your wedding that was personal and you loved?
I hope all of your weekends are off to a wonderful start!
It looks like you're on your way. Loving your choices! Kori xoxo

ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing cake! Love it!
ReplyDeletePlanning is part of the fun! Looking forward to seeing more...
ReplyDeleteLOVE the pale pinks...They will be a stunning backdrop for the most beautiful bride. Wish I could help with some place card ideas but we chose to forgo assigned seating since we had a casual, beachy reception. It really worked out well for us because everyone got to choose who they wanted to sit with and it felt like a big family dinner. I am anxious to see what you come up with. It will be fab, I'm sure!
ReplyDeleteAll those soft colors are just yum! I am new to blog world, so check out my page when you get a chance. Thank you and have a great afternoon!
