BLACK + BLUE : STITCHFIX

Happy Monday!
I hope you all had a relaxing weekend. Cooler weather has moved in around here and always seems to  inspire me to get a little more organized, clean out closets, and feel refreshed for the season ahead.

Fall fashion is my favorite since I live in a cold climate. These are the clothes that are worn most of the year [8 whole months last year :(] and there are so many ways to layer, dress up, down, and overall figure out how to keep yourself warm, but stylish. This is where Stitch Fix comes in. I finally opened up my account a few weeks ago and had so much fun filling out the questionnaire about which styles are most like me, which pieces I wear day to day, how much I generally spend on certain things, and excitedly awaited my fix. A few weeks later a box of clothing and accessories showed up at my door - how fun is that, right?

While I didn't keep every single thing, the pieces did encourage me to try things on I might not usually grab, and also to try a trend or two that I might not - like Navy and Black. Growing up my mom once said that if you wear navy and black together, you'll look like a bruise. I think that kind of stuck with me, non-the-less, I tried the look.

The awesome ponte pants and cute navy top were from stitch fix, and I paired my own J.Crew blazer and Tory Burch shoes with it. That was one of the things I liked best - the pieces they sent seamlessly worked with things I already owned.

If you're looking for a little closet refresher, something fun to wear to an event, or maybe even a push to try something you wouldn't usually - try Stitch Fix!
