ACCESSORIZING WITH CORAL

Going away for a few days always ushers in a renewed sense of inspiration, and sometimes it reminds you of why you love certain things you have always been partial to.
So beautiful, and each piece with a unique organic character, Coral is a decorative accessory I will never tire of.  A grouping like this one of different corals well utilizes the space without being generic...

With all the colors, shape, and styles its easy to find a piece that suits you. I love seeing corals mounted on lucite which I often see at HomeGoods! and on other fun stands as well, its a great way to add some height to a table.

One piece is the perfect finishing accent to a table, bookcase, on on top of a stack of books!

I love coral too. Big pieces are very expensive, but fortunately I'm also a polymer clay nut and faux coral is super easy to make!

It really is just so gorgeous...I'm really loving all the fabulous coral print fabrics that are coming out and about...it is convincing me that I need some new accesories (but that really doesn't take much convincing...)!!!

I also have an infatuation with coral. I love it in that oh-so-interesting second room and also set on top of the mirrored cube table so it reflects all the sides of it. Great images for inpiration! I blogged about it a while back if you'd like to take a look for a few more ideas here: http://bjdhausdesign.blogspot.com/2011/01/coral-infatuation.html.

You've inspired me! I need some coral. ALSO I totally am behind apparently because you were in my new issue of Traditional Home in an ad for a blind company! I was like "Wait! I know her!" So exciting!

Have you seen the ones at Z Gallerie? Super cute in fun colors. I especially like the teal ones!

I wish they made them as bookends!

This is so timely for me - I've had a set of coral prints in my Etsy cart for a while now and worried they were too common and wouldn't work with my non-beachy decor. I think I may actually pay for them now ;)
