WEDDING ON THE WEEKEND

When I got engaged, I knew I didn't want to inundate you all with wedding inspiration. However, a few of you have expressed interest- so maybe on the weekends I will share a few of my thoughts and musings as to just how this wedding might turn out...

it seems that with every passing moment, days are turning into weeks - and I have bigger decisions to make everyday. this week I have turned my attention to narrowing down a final color palette...
after seeing a super pale pink dress on one of my bridesmaids, I fell in love.

flowers are a really important part of the wedding to me, and I adore this cake.
the fashioning of the flowers and the colors would perfectly coincide with some other choices I have made...

spending the hours I have losing myself to Style Me Pretty, I've seen many brides choosing to veer from the traditional and going with printed/patterned, mixed and matched dishware, and idea I think I'm keen on. I like the way it brings the table down to earth and doesn't feel too stiff...

When it comes to events and paper - I am Ms. Matchy-Matchy. However,  I have yet to be inspired by a great idea for seating cards. Have any of you seen a great idea? Or, did you have something at your wedding that was personal and you loved?

I hope all of your weekends are off to a wonderful start!

LOVE the pale pinks...They will be a stunning backdrop for the most beautiful bride. Wish I could help with some place card ideas but we chose to forgo assigned seating since we had a casual, beachy reception. It really worked out well for us because everyone got to choose who they wanted to sit with and it felt like a big family dinner. I am anxious to see what you come up with. It will be fab, I'm sure!

I just found your blog, and love the inspiration! I am also planning a wedding, so I would definitely like to see wedding posts! I love the blush color. I'm thinking about incorporating that into some flowers!
