It always makes me happy to share something from my sweet city. Artful Living is a quarterly luxury lifestyle magazine that I always enjoy reading through, and when I came across this beautiful apartment, my heart skipped a little beat...
The mix of textures around every corner is truly capturing...
What's even more interesting is how Andrew Flescher and his partner designed this apartment on a dime. They can only live in it for one year! and have turned it into something seriously gorgeous.
Instead of replacing the floors, they painted them, replaced their
counters with ones from ikea, and tiled their kitchen with a standard
subway tile from Home Depot. Their apartment is a true testament to what
you can get done by being thrifty and mixing the right elements
together.
