Growing up in Minnesota, I have seen it all (or so I thought) when it comes to cold weather. Yesterday, I learned this is not so. I have seen some pretty silly things that Floridians do in the cold, but yesterday was a new high. My neighbor was sprinkling his lawn, thus creating upward growing icicles.
While this gave me even more of a chill realizing that it really was cold enough for there to be ice, I began to crave to cozy winter things even more (I know... spring is coming!) The other day I bought some little sheepskin rugs and draped them over some chairs, and voila... warm and soft accomplished!
