CLASSIC EQUESTRIAN CHIC

Fall up north always ushers back in the classic styles that Ralph Lauren has made so famous over the years. The crisp lines, perfect attention to detail, and a here and there touches of elegance inspire everything from fashion, to interiors, to the way we entertain...

these equestrian inspired interiors and warm and inviting, they don't have to be stuffy...
think classic colors and elements, with contemporary flair

subtle animal print touches mixed with designer elements known for their classic roots...

touches of white and silver against deep walls, and a few hints of the outdoors...

monogramming, linen, and leather...

a well stocked and perfectly appointed bar tray is an absolute must for an after polo swig of whisky...

and clean white flowers to keep the room clean and fresh...

a few staple elements in classic equestrian chic design...
tufted (specifically a gorgeous leather sofa that looks like it could have been handed down from your great grandparents!) and a soft fur throw to drape over the arm, a faux croc skin bar tray with a lovely crystal scotch or whisky set, a classic painting (think dogs, horses, relatives...) ornately framed, a simple but elegant chandelier, fun coffee table lookbooks, and a pretty set of boots to sit by the front door (because you just returned from riding your horse, right?).

In the past I haven't been much of a fan of the equestrian look in the home but this is changing my mind. I love so much of it!
