A Beautiful Day for Some Tablescaping (and breakfast on the deck!)

Pardon the delay this morning, but I unexpectedly learned that I have the day off. Coffee is (seriously) one of my most treasured parts of the day.  Its a ritual that I look forward to every morning, and my "breakfast" hours can go on for a good part of the day. So, inspired by my friends Sommer at Paper Anniversary, I enjoyed this beautiful spring morning on my deck, and so did my little dog Trinket...

As for the rest of the day, I have some tablescaping in mind. I think its the perfect way to rejuvenate some spaces for the new season ahead!

on the other hand, those outdoor chairs that M loves so much are in serious need of a facelift. I'm thinking of some black spray paint, my sewing machine, and some black and white striped fabric...

Pig In The City

What are you doing this weekend?

This is what I'm doing this weekend ( I had to share because who doesn't think that baby animals are cute?)

This is our little piggy Mille. Before her, I was so NOT an animal person, but this sweet little lover totally changed my heart! Most people think that pigs are dirty farm animals but, Mille is the cleanest pig in the city you will ever meet! We have a couple friends who have been looking for pigs, and so to help them out, I have looked around for different breeders. Well, I found one here in central florida who has the cutest little piglets, and were going to see them tomorrow... so I thought I would share.
