You know when you get so excited about a new place to live that you don't even consider the parts about it that might not be quite so awesome? Like, weed infestation? It's easy to just pull 'em up and call it a day right? Ummm.. no. Since last summer we still had lots of projects inside to work on, this summer we're getting around to the yard and the last couple weekends we've been hard at work. After this weekend we're finally feeling like we've got a handle on things, and I am excited about the possibilities. Especially foxgloves. Thanks to the amazing big trees that line our street, we've got quite a bit of shade and these flower are shade lovers :) They're kinda magical, right?
I would be pretty ok with things ending up like this too...
