WEDDING ON THE WEEKEND: ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS

Last week we met with the photographer who will be taking our engagement photos. Every day since, I have woken up with an extra skip in my step- I'm just so excited to have these photos taken. M and I have agreed that we want something unconventional- some simply pretty pictures to adorn our frames with that don't necessarily scream "we're engaged". I love these classic and fun photos...

ENAMORED WITH ENTRYWAYS

Lately, some great entryways have caught my eye. They are such great spaces to create a vignette that speaks about your home as soon as you open the door... they're also a great place to catch a few everyday items. But, beyond the keys and sunglasses, I love an entryway that's highly styled, and I think these spaces get it right...

There are so many differing elements in this vignette and they all work together flawlessly. The clear glass lamp lets light and space into the area. 

The unassuming glamour of this one is perfect. Its clean, but decorated. 

Highly Styled - this is what I'm talking about. While there is not room for much else than decor, it really makes a bold and exciting statement!

Valentines day was certainly a life changer for me...

Looking back now, my guest post over at Lemon & Lavender seems like a crazy premonition!

but, I'm so excited to share with all of you before anyone else, other than my family of course! that M and I got engaged last night! This is such a special time in my life, and I couldn't wait to share with all of you!

here we are almost 3 1/2 years ago on one of our first adventures together - M, because I know you'll read this I'm so lucky you're mine!

Call me crazy- but, I have never seen the movie Up! After seeing this beyond adorable Up! inspired engagement shoot, I'm thinking it should be next in line on Netflix...

I love the sense of adventure in these next  photos, very metaphorical...
