A COZY NEW YEAR

I can't believe how long I've been away from this little blog of mine, and I'm so excited to see what the new year ahead has in store- because afterall, you, my dear readers, have made this year quite amazing!

Here in the sunny Swiss alps, I can't help but be drawn to the rustic interiors, complimented by the bright sunlight which highlights the views outside the windows far and wide...

use of what nature provides us mixed with contemporary elements...

WINTER IS HERE

You will have to excuse my absence yesterday. I had to take a day and let the fact that it now gets into the 20 degree mark at night and no higher than 40 during the day set it. It is now winter. It came quickly, and with hurricane force winds...

hats and mittens are now a must...

and it would be so nice to cozy into rooms like this...

sipping hot chocolate...

while keeping warm in this luxurious sweater...

of course these deep walls and fur throw look cozy and lovely too...

FUR IS FABULOUS

I have been L-O-V-I-N-G faux fur this fall! Since purchasing a Michael Kors faux fur vest in late summer, I patiently waited everyday until the weather got colder to wear it, now... I live in it. I have [faux] fur in the bedroom too. A little fur certainly mixes up your living spaces, and warms them up for the colder months ahead...

I think I could just sleep on that black sheepskin rug, it looks so velvety

a little fur can be so luxurious...
