MIRRORED PERFECTION

Mirrors are a fabulous little trick for making a space feel larger, brighter... and adding that subtle hint of absolute glamour. Mirrored furniture has been popping up all over lately namely this dining table which I'm most excited about and have added that perfectly suited touch of texture and depth to these otherwise somewhat ordinary spaces...

FEMININE + FUNCTIONAL

There is nothing I love to see more than accessible design. When I saw Ada Gonzales' home office on Made by Girl- I did a second take, its bold yet subtle and has all the right hints of femininity, and function!

This vignette has my jaw on the floor the super beautiful pastel curtains, the white circular workspace, sheepskin chair coverings- and, obviously the bookcase- who doesn't want a ladder?

 

The way she uses wall space for inspiration boards is great! It gives you inspiration from past projects to draw on, and shows your clients just what you're capable of!

l-o-v-i-n-g these paint swatches on the wall! mine are also on rings, and I think this is such a functional way to place them, and also add a little fun "I'm a decorator" decor!

WHITE + BRIGHT

I know in actuality, these spaces probably aren't the same - but wouldn't it be perfect if they were? The work space is sheer amazingness. That insanely large inspiration board with all the light pouring in over the work space.. l-o-v-e it!

Wouldn't this be the perfect place to take a little retreat from work? Just to sit down and get a little inspiration from some of your favorite magazines?

CHIC + FLIRTY

This little Manhattan study is the perfect juxtaposition, of chic and flirty- feminine. The subtle animal prints, the mismatching fabric on a fabulous louis chair, and the adorable decorative touches are what polishes off the room...

DEEP, DARK, + GLAMOROUS

M and I are on the road again, so I apologize for the lack of posting. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday filled with sunny skies! Now that its back to work, and (at least M and I are) living in limbo for another 2 months, it got me thinking about how much I miss my little workspace, and when we can finally settle into a place for longer than 1, 2, maybe even 6 months, what a gorgeous office I would love to have

one just like this maybe (with a baroque style desk included!)...

Little Nook Project

With the rain pouring down here.. its the perfect day for a little work. The fun kind.

There is this peculiar little nook in our guest bedroom that is just begging for a cute desk, and great inspiration board. Today, thats just what it is going to get! Here are some inspirations that got me started, along with Jenny from Little Green Notebook's idea for a DIY corkboard.
