HUNG WITH A BOW

For the longest time, the way that Ryan Korban uses sashes and ribbon to hang beautiful frames has caught my eye in his designs. Whether his, or somewhere else - it always creates the same effect of height, glamor, and texture. Doesn't it feel sumptuous?

LOVING LONNY: THE SEPTEMBER ISSUE

If you haven't already caught on... Hi, my name is Keely and I'm addicted to white furniture. Vicente Wolfe's living room in his Montauk hideaway caught my eye from page one... just look at this gorgeous room... couldn't you sink right in?

Always a sucker for the round library table with sweet benches, Cath Kidson's eclectic and quirky library is sophisticated and fun.  And P.S. I can't wait for John Derian's line to debut at Target in September... how great are these coasters!

Ryan Korban... how my love affair never fades. This Union Square apartment was no different... simply lovely.

And finally... a few stunning galleries...
My heart was still when I first saw the pictures of "Flair". The place is just simply to die for. This gallery wall however, is truly one of the piece's de resistance! The deep and moody dark walls with the roman statue photography... so different, so bold!

DOMINO IS BACK!!

So, if you haven't already heard the absolutely amazing news that the Domino archives are back, now you have! Brides.com has come to the rescue and is hosting the all of our old favorites. Thank Goodness! In honor of it finally bringing happiness and rightness to the design world, I wanted to post a Domino article by one of my very favorites, Mr. Ryan Korban

Here are his tricks to "controlling clutter" or.. the way I see it, creating cute vignettes...

make stacks purposeful ( and adorn them with simple flowers or figurines if you so desire)

contain the small stuff

realize the power of trays... i don't know about you all, but I think I've gone overboard on this one.

boxes... use them as makeshift cabinets. I think they are important simply for the clean organizational aspect of a space.

smells... like you cleaned. Korban prefers lavender from diptyque as opposed to PineSol, I adore Caldrea linen spray. There are so many options, find one YOU love!
thank you dear brides.com for bringing this little ray of sunshine back into our lives!

I Love... Ryan Korban

I have been obsessed with the immensely talented Ryan Korban since he was featured in the third issue of Lonny Magazine.  There is just one word for his interiors... sexy. I love the wide range of textures, the extremely subtly pops of color, and best of all the coziness of each and every room.  I just don't have any other words for all the fabulous elements other than, I LOVE!

Loving Lonny

All of us in blogland are drooling over Lonny Mag's third issue (you probably are too)! Every issue is deliciously packed with goodness and beauty, and while I am also totally smitten by Betsy Burnham's home and most certainly her living room, you have probably seen it on many other blogs (I sure have!). I also couldn't possibly pass up on Ryan Korban's super sexy home. So, I am going to share with you things in the entire issue that caught my eye, and hopefully your's too! What space is your favorite?

This entryway is so simple, and so classic. I'm so jealous of that gorgeous campaign piece. I saw one on Craigslist the other day just like it, and I was dying to have it. Unfortunately the person never got back to me!

I like the idea of a little hallway menagerie for some visual pleasing! A la Victoria Thompson.

I die. What an inspiring room. I don't think I would ever leave this place. Its elegant, eclectic, chic, omgsh... on and on. So fabulous Miss Betsey Burnham!

This is just a snapshot... I think I'm going to have to dedicate a whole post to this brilliantly talented boy. Ryan Korban's home is so sexy, so warm. I am totally intrigued!

This is just subtly beautiful. It feels so warm and cozy. It is clearly home to Antonia Thompson. The character that fireplace gives the room is unmatched.
