SEEING RED

 Red... its timeless, its classic - and everytime we move, I say I'm not going to have red in the house again. And everytime, that fails. A wonderful color that add vibrance and warmth to a room and somehow makes it a little more appealing...

 A color that's attainable in practically every design element you can think of, look beyond pillows and accessories to add a hint of red. The red rug above is unexpected and unassuming- the Provencial feel of the room remains, yet gains excitement with the floor. Same with the lampshades below... these spaces with otherwise distinct color palettes are enlivened by the simplicity of the one hint!

I have always admired Alessandra Branca's work. It's daring, its individual, and nothing short of fabulous...

I don't know what to love more, the piping on the sofa, the red and brown toile covered chairs, or the tufted ottoman?

greek key lining in the curtains... yes please!

piping and classic white bedding... what's not to love?

LOUNGING IN RED, WHITE, + BLUE

I plan on spending most of my fourth of July outdoors, or on the lake, but it sure would be nice to have one of these super comfy spaces to come home and lounge on after a long day on in the sun!
